Every student’s route to the beauty industry looks different. Explore these local and statewide resources, then talk with our enrollment team about which opportunity may fit your goals.
Workforce training support
Fusion Beauty Academy is an approved WIOA training provider. Eligible participants may qualify for federally funded career training and related support.
On Illinois WorkNet, enter “Fusion” in the keyword field to find our cosmetology, barbering, esthetics and hair braiding programs.

For high school students
Through our partnership with Wilco Area Career Center, eligible juniors and seniors can begin building professional skills in hair braiding, cosmetology or esthetics while continuing their secondary education. For the 2027–2028 school year, Cosmetology and Esthetics programs begin in July, and Hair Braiding begins in August.

Through our partnership with Joliet Township High School, eligible seniors can begin building professional hair braiding skills while completing their final year of high school. For the 2027–2028 school year, the Hair Braiding program begins in August.
